Sir Terry Pratchett

After losing Leonard Nimoy less than two weeks ago, I’ve just heard the very sad news that Terry Pratchett has also died. He was (is) my favourite author. I love the Discworld novels, probably because I’m Granny Weatherwax. He leaves behind a wonderful world for people to enjoy. He invented some great characters and there was a lot of humour in his books. If you have never read his fantasy novels, you’re missing out.

His family broke the news with these tweets: “AT LAST, SIR TERRY, WE MUST WALK TOGETHER” (Death talks in capital letters), “Terry took Death’s arm and followed him through the doors and on to the black desert under the endless night” and the last one just said poignantly “The End”. I’d like to think that Death is giving him a ride on Binky.   🙂
