Would you want a coffin like this?

A glowing Christmas tree today.   🙂

This evening I managed to catch the final episode of ‘The Moaning of Life’ which I missed when it was first broadcast.  This episode was about death and when Karl Pilkington was in Ghana he looked at the varied and very artistic coffins that they have in that country.  There was a car, a big beetle and a crab.  He spoke to a man who said his coffin would be a pen because he is a teacher.  I guess I should have a paintbrush then but that’s boring.  I think I would have a cat.  In a pose like this lol:

Here are some of the colourful coffins in Ghana:

The attention to detail is amazing!  They make our coffins look dead boring!   😀

Karl decided to get a special one commissioned.  What did he ask for?  A replica of a Twix packet because he likes eating them and he asked for the coffin to have spaces for 2 people, just as the packet has room for 2 bars lying side by side, so he could be buried with his girlfriend.  How romantic lol!  At the end of the programme the coffin had arrived in Britain and Karl had put it in storage because it was too big and his girlfriend didn’t want it in their home.  When he opened the door to the store room I was amazed.  What do you think of this?
